Meet Dr. Jaime Welsh-Rajchel

Get to Know Dr. Jaime Welsh-Rajchel

Originally from Columbia, Missouri, Dr. Jaime Welsh-Rajchel brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and creative approach to general dentistry. Growing up, she was always drawn to both art and science, and dentistry became the perfect way to combine those interests while helping others. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and Policy from Creighton University before continuing on to Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Welsh-Rajchel’s connection to dentistry began early. Her grandfather was a dentist, and encouragement from her father inspired her to explore the profession. After shadowing and working as a dental assistant in high school and college, she quickly discovered how much she loved the field.

After completing dental school, Dr. Welsh-Rajchel completed a two-year General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York. There, she expanded her experience in caring for medically compromised patients, pediatrics, prosthodontics, hospital-based dentistry, and maxillofacial trauma. She remains committed to professional growth and is currently completing courses through the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and is an active member of the Pankey Study Club in Omaha.

What Dr. Welsh-Rajchel loves most about dentistry is the opportunity to connect with patients. She considers it a privilege to earn her patients’ trust and finds it especially rewarding to see someone who once felt embarrassed to smile leave feeling proud and confident.

Outside of the office, Dr. Welsh-Rajchel enjoys exploring everything Omaha has to offer, from restaurants and live music to art and parks. She also stays busy with her two boys and enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, and watching documentaries.
